During the event, Musk shared his aspiration of wanting to “die in a capsule off the coast of Mars,” highlighting his long-term goal of colonizing the red planet. Despite plans to visit the club after his talk with Milken, Musk was reportedly a no-show, although preparations were made for his arrival with a private section and DJ.
The event provided a glimpse into the security measures taken for Musk’s potential visit to Ketchy Beach. Four security guards conducted a thorough walk-through to ensure safety and the right ambiance for Musk. A private section was set up, shielded from prying eyes with plants and fabric. Despite the meticulous preparations, Musk failed to make an appearance, leaving his security detail waiting in the designated area for 40 minutes.
