The Return of Axl Rose to The Mulberry

On a Friday night, Axl Rose made his way back to The Mulberry, a hangout spot that hosted an after party for him the previous year. Rose, known as the frontman of Guns N’ Roses, had recently joined Billy Joel onstage at his final Madison Square Garden show. The singer arrived at The Mulberry after having dinner at BondST and seemed to vaguely recall his previous visit to the establishment.

Despite initially struggling to remember the details of his last visit, Rose’s memory was jogged by the bar’s exclusive Whisper Room. Mistakenly referring to it as “the egg room,” the singer lit up with recognition upon seeing the private space. The Whisper Room had previously hosted a slew of stars such as Janet Jackson, Beck, Taylor Swift, Jason Momoa, and Rose himself. It was here that Rose had previously partied back in August of 2023, following a show at Metlife Stadium.

During his previous visit, Rose had opted to spend time mingling with the crowd rather than secluding himself in the Whisper Room. He danced to the tunes of DJ David Katz, enjoying hits like “November Rain” while regaling partygoers with stories from his past and present. The bar had even gifted him a personalized bottle of Don Julio 1942, engraved with his name. Unfortunately, his last escapade was cut short by torrential rains that flooded the bar’s basement and brought an end to the festivities.

This time around, however, Rose managed to make up for his previous party’s premature end. Rocking out at The Mulberry well past its usual closing hours, the singer seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself. The atmosphere was electric as Rose embraced the night and celebrated in style, making his return to The Mulberry a night to remember for all in attendance.
