It was reported that the suspects became radicalized online and pledged allegiance to the leader of the Islamic State in July. This information was provided by Franz Ruf, the director-general for public safety in the Ministry of the Interior. Upon raiding the teen’s home, where he resided with his parents, authorities found various chemicals and substances. The motive behind targeting Swift’s concert remains unclear, but it has been confirmed that one of the sold-out shows was the target.
Amidst these developments, it is uncertain whether Taylor Swift will proceed with the scheduled shows in Vienna over the weekend.
