Recently, Kanye West’s former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, filed a lawsuit against the rapper for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. The court documents obtained by Page Six shed light on the disturbing incidents that allegedly took place during Pisciotta’s time working with West.
According to the filing, Pisciotta began working with Kanye West in July 2021 as he was gearing up to launch his Yeezy fashion line. She was offered a substantial salary of $1 million, with the condition that she be available to West 24/7, a demand she agreed to. However, things took a turn when West asked her to delete her OnlyFans account in 2022, claiming he wanted her to be more “God Like.” Despite this, her salary was allegedly never adjusted to make up for the lost income.
Soon after this incident, West reportedly started sending Pisciotta vulgar and explicit text messages. The messages described graphic sexual acts and included requests for a level of degradation that made her uncomfortable. Along with the texts, West also allegedly shared intimate photos of Yeezy employees, demonstrating a complete lack of respect for their privacy and professionalism.
The lawsuit goes on to detail even more disturbing encounters with Kanye West. Pisciotta claims that he masturbated while they were on the phone, made inappropriate comments about her romantic relationships, and even forced her to remove clothing in the office. In one particularly alarming incident, West allegedly locked them in a room together and masturbated next to her, highlighting a pattern of behavior that is deeply troubling.
Despite these incidents, Pisciotta was eventually promoted to Chief of Staff of West’s companies and offered a substantial salary of $4 million. However, just a month later, she was fired without receiving the promised severance package of $3 million. This sudden termination added insult to injury, leaving Pisciotta in a vulnerable position and feeling undervalued.
In response to these allegations, Lauren Pisciotta is seeking compensation for breach of contract and hostile work environment. Representatives for Kanye West have not yet commented on the matter, leaving the accusations unanswered. This legal battle comes on the heels of previous allegations against West, including claims of racial discrimination at his Christian school, Donda Academy.
The allegations against Kanye West paint a troubling picture of a workplace environment rife with harassment and misconduct. It is imperative that these claims are taken seriously and thoroughly investigated to ensure justice and accountability for all parties involved.
