Jon Stewart to Host Live Shows of The Daily Show Following National Conventions

Jon Stewart, the renowned host of The Daily Show, is gearing up to host live episodes following the closing night of both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. In an exciting development, Stewart will be broadcasting live from Milwaukee on Thursday, July 18th, and Chicago on Thursday, August 22nd. Stewart will be sharing hosting duties with his News Team throughout the DNC and RNC as part of the show’s Indecision 2024 election coverage. The News Team lineup includes Ronny Chieng, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, and Desi Lydic, alongside Dulcé Sloan and Lewis Black. Joining them are new additions Troy Iwata, Josh Johnson, and Grace Kuhlenschmidt. The Daily Show will be broadcasting from the Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee during the RNC and the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago for the DNC.

In addition to the live shows from the conventions, Stewart will also host two special episodes following the presidential debates. These episodes are scheduled for Thursday, June 27, and Tuesday, September 10, after the debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump. The Daily Show will be airing a full week of shows from the RNC in Milwaukee (July 15-18) and the DNC in Chicago (August 19-22), respectively, airing weeknights at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
