Delving into the World of Shared Custody: A Comedy-Drama Series by Disney+

Disney+ has recently announced their collaboration with renowned filmmaker Javier Fesser for their new comedy-drama series called Shared Custody. This marks Fesser’s first venture into the world of television directing, and the streamer has set the launch date for January 2025. The series, consisting of eight episodes, explores the complexities that arise when parents decide to separate.

Shared Custody revolves around the lives of parents Cris and Diego, who have recently parted ways but are determined to co-parent their five-year-old daughter. However, due to financial constraints, both parents are forced to move back in with their respective families. The Immigrant, a Fremantle-backed production company, is responsible for bringing Shared Custody to life. The series is created and written by Juanjo Moscardó Rius, known for his work on the Goya-nominated film A Shitty Therapy, along with María Mínguez. The collaboration between Fesser, Moscardó Rius, and Mínguez promises to deliver a blend of heartwarming moments and comedic elements that will resonate with viewers.
