Over the weekend, Michael Jackson’s son Blanket, now known as Bigi, was spotted at a Target store in Los Angeles. The 22-year-old celebrity, known for his privacy, opted for a casual look with a black “Star Wars” graphic T-shirt and black athletic shorts as he roamed the aisles of the store. Bigi was seen purchasing items such as a Minecraft game, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, and Kleenex tissues during his outing.
According to reports, Bigi is a gamer and drives a brightly colored purple Tesla. It seems like the young Jackson is a fan of the “Star Wars” franchise, as this is not the first time he has been seen sporting attire related to the iconic series. In a previous outing, he was seen wearing a Darth Vader shirt paired with black athletic shorts and matching sneakers.
Recently, singer Janelle Monae faced backlash for a social media post where she recreated the infamous incident involving Michael Jackson dangling his then-10-month-old son over a balcony in 2002. Monae, dressed as the late pop star, was seen holding a robotic dog over the balcony of her hotel. The post was criticized for being disrespectful towards Michael Jackson, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 50. Fans and followers expressed their disgust at Monae’s actions, calling them “sick and evil.”
Despite living a mostly private life, Bigi made headlines earlier this year for his work behind the camera. He wrote and directed a short film titled “Rochelles,” which went on to win the award for Best Drama at the Santa Monica Film Festival. Michael Jackson, Bigi’s father, was also a parent to son Prince Jackson and daughter Paris Jackson, whom he shared with ex-wife Debbie Rowe. Bigi, whose birth name is Prince Michael Jackson II, was born via surrogate in 2002.
