Offset and Cardi B Celebrate Son’s 3rd Birthday Amid Divorce News

Offset and Cardi B came together to celebrate their son Wave’s 3rd birthday with an airplane-themed party. The pregnant “Bodak Yellow” rapper took to Instagram to share the festivities of their son’s special day. Wave was dressed in a white shirt, jeans, Timberland boots, and a customized iced-out chain as he danced with his father, Offset.

The party room was adorned with white and light blue balloons and had airplanes on the wall with Wave’s name on them. The five-tier cake was decorated with fondant-made airplanes, suitcases, a compass, and paper airplanes. The setting included a faux flight departure schedule with planes departing from gates Wave 1, 2, and 3. The adults at the party enjoyed a spread prepared by chef Franklin Rosario, featuring a variety of dishes like salad, Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes, and more. The younger guests were treated to burgers from Mr. Beast.

Last month, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, citing that they had grown apart. Despite rumors of infidelity surrounding their marriage, Cardi clarified that it was their drifting apart that led her to make this decision. Following the divorce filing, Cardi announced that she was expecting her third child with Offset, adding to their family that already includes daughter Kulture and son Wave. Offset also has three other children with different women.

Child Custody and Support

While Cardi is seeking primary custody of their children, she made it clear that she is not asking for child support from Offset. She specified that her claim is for him to only cover the bills that he already pays for the kids and the new addition to their family. Despite their separation, both parents seem committed to co-parenting their children and celebrating milestones like Wave’s birthday together.
