Recently, Wiz Khalifa found himself in hot water after being charged with illegal drug possession in Romania for using marijuana during his performance at the Beach Please! Festival. The Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism in Constanța initiated criminal proceedings against the American rapper after he was found in possession of over 18 grams of cannabis during the festival.
Possession of marijuana in Romania can lead to serious consequences, including potential imprisonment for up to 10 years. However, despite being charged, Wiz Khalifa was released from custody soon after the incident. The 10-time Grammy nominee and others involved were taken in for questioning by Romanian authorities following the festival.
